Nicky started her career in TV, as an unpaid intern at MTV Networks in the 90s; interviewed countless artists, directed multi camera live performances, travelled the world for work, and produced many of the major league presenting talent of today.
Moving into off screen talent management in 2007, she has since held Head of Talent roles at Optomen, NBCUniversal International, and Dragonfly before setting up WDT in 2015.
Having crewed up some of British televisions’ most successful, well-loved and award-winning formats, Nicky has over twelve years experience of tracking the movers and shakers in this industry on their respective career paths, and the reputation of working with the best talent, and the leading production companies in the business.
With 18 Years of factual television production experience behind her, Christina now utilises her knowledge of the industry to place the right people in the right roles for We Do Talent.
Christina spent 15 years travelling the world (and touring the Premier Inns of this country), working her way up from researcher to producer director on countless fact ent formats and food series including, The Apprentice, The Great British Menu, Gordon Ramsay’s Great Escape, Wife Swap, Sun Sea & Suspicious Parents and Supersizers Go!.
An accomplished development executive, Christina headed up development at Brighton based indie, Electric Sky, and Jamie Oliver’s production company, Fresh One. Working on a variety of funded developments for broadcasters and brands, she gained in-depth knowledge of channel needs as well as successful commissions: The Great British Bake Off, Len and Ainsley’s Big Food Adventure, Meat The Family and a variety of Great British Menu specials.
Our resident social media expert; Rebecca specialises in creating content that excites and delights social media audiences, sparking conversations and inspiring engagement. She’s worked on a variety of campaigns for a wide range of brands and broadcasters including the BBC, Sky, NBC Universal, General Motors, Aldi, Jose Cuervo and Goldman Sachs. She’s joined the WDT family to run our busy social feeds and help us to reach a wider range of talent for our clients.
Garret is leading our push into social media, digital and agency recruitment. Having run his own successful social media agency, Garret has managed big global teams and led content campaigns for BBC, ITV, Sky, Channel 4, Red Bull and more. As a freelance consultant he has led global digital campaigns for MTV and others as well as building his own coaching and mentoring business.
