A London based production company with a track record of producing award winning films across a range of factual genres are looking for an experienced Producer/Director to start within the next month.

This is for a blue-chip documentary series which requires consistent ideas generation and contributor suggestions, plus tenacity, patience and brilliant story telling skills. Gaining access and maintaining it is also a key skill to have.  You must be good at writing and scripting and understand how to tell gripping factual/current affairs stories – using a range of techniques, from interview, all manner of archive and newly captured footage. You will have worked on factual, current affairs or political documentary series before. This is not an observational documentary series and the need for good journalistic skills is a given.

Understanding the Middle East, or at the very least having an awareness and interest in the region, will be absolutely essential, as you will need to be able to immerse yourself in the history and current situation within particular countries – this means you must also be keen to understand the wider geopolitical landscape.  Please also state if you an Arabic Speaker – if you are that would be a bonus, but not essential.

This will initially be a 4-day week contract, for an 8 week duration, with a view to extend…You will be working remotely for the foreseeable future due to current guidelines, and the London office will reopen when possible.   If you have the relevant background, and you are available to start within the next month, please apply via the link below…
